The South African Bass Angling Association is the new name for the South African Bass Chapter Federation as decided at the special general meeting held on 02 October 2001
The South African Bass Angling Association represents the interests of competative bass anglers across Southern Africa and is subject to the code of conduct as set down by the South African Sports Commission. The Association has two official methods of communicating with its members: one is the print publication BASSAFRICA magazine; and, the other is the www.sabaa.co.za website.To fish competitively under the association one needs to join a local club affiliated to the association. Membership within these clubs are broken into three categories: Gold , Silver and Junior.
